Looking Foeward

I turned fifty-six yesterday. Who ever said life goes by fast wasn't kidding. It does. So many things go past in the blink of an eye it seems. So far it's been a great ride.

I'm looking forward now... the last five years have been great in so many ways; I moved here to the North West, made some wonderful new friends, and re-discovered the outdoors. But somehow it seems there is still something I have not yet discovered or attained. I have no idea what it is, but for the last few weeks I've had this nagging or ache within me. Something telling me there is something really big ahead.

Maybe it's time for a rediscovery or something. It's been a crazy five years since I made the big move out here, perhaps now that I'm comfortable with my surroundings it's time to set my sights on something deeper. I guess I need to keep my eyes open and my spirit alive.

It's very easy to honker down and accept what I have and go with the flow...but I think not. I'll just keep lookin forward.
